Education Qualification for HOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026:
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology in Commercial Practice, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering discipline, granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government.
Graduate Apprentices:
- A degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical, Fire and Safety granted by a statutory university.
Note:
- Candidates who have passed the qualifying examinations during the years 2021 to 2025.
- Minimum marks: 60 percentage in qualifying examination; for PwBD/SC/ST candidates, requirement is relaxed to 50 percentage (Second Class).

Selection Process for HOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026:
- Short-listing of applicants will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the minimum prescribed educational qualification for the relevant stream.
- Shortlisted applicants will be called for verification of original documents, followed by Written Examination / Skill Test and Interview.
- Candidates must produce original documents (age, caste, educational qualification, disability etc.) and self-attested photocopies at the time of documents verification; failure to produce originals will result in rejection.
